Heroes of Chemistry are annual awards made by the ACS Committee on Corporation Associates, recognizing talented industrial chemical scientists whose work has led to the development of successful commercialized products ingrained with chemistry for the benefit of humankind.
Any private or publicly owned for-profit company may nominate a team of chemists, chemical engineers, and other allied professionals who played a vital role in the research and development of a commercial product that has had an impact on the welfare and progress of humanity.
Nominations must be submitted by February 14, 2022. Full information is at https://www.acs.org/content/acs/en/funding/awards/heroes-of-chemistry.html

Find out if you are qualified to become an ACS Fellow. Send your CV for review by the SCHB Nominations Committee. The selection of ACS Fellows is based on documented excellence and leadership in both of two areas and weighted equally: (1) science, the profession, education, and/or management, and (2) volunteer service in the ACS community. Nomination documents must address both of these areas. Contact Mukund Chorghade and/or Jack Driscoll.
