SCHB Chairs elected ACS Fellows, June 2010

On June 28th, 2010, SCHB Chair Dr. Mukund S. Chorghade and Past Chair Dr. Michael E. Strem were honored to be elected as members of the 2010 class of ACS Fellows. This recognition was accorded to only 192 Fellows this year; and, this is the second year since the inception of this award. Mukund’s response on becoming a Fellow: “I am very humbled and honored. It makes chemistry, particularly industrial and pharmaceutical chemistry (discovery and process) that much more worth doing”. Congratulations to Mukund and Mike, and they are now indeed Jolly, Good Fellows!
